Design & Content

A Canva specialist who works in your account, not just on advice

You already know what needs to get done in Canva. The problem is that building out templates, maintaining brand consistency, and producing assets for every channel takes hours you do not have. Trusty Oak fractional specialists log into your Canva account and do the work: building, organizing, producing, and maintaining your design library so your team always has what it needs. This is hands-on execution at $50/hr, not consultation.

What our team does with Canva

Concrete work our fractional specialists take on inside your Canva account. No vague promises.

Build a Scalable Brand Kit and Template Library

We configure your Brand Kit with your exact color palettes, fonts, and logos, then build a master set of templates for your most-used formats: social posts, pitch decks, email headers, and event graphics. Every template is locked where appropriate so team members can edit content without breaking the layout. The result is a library your whole team can use without needing design experience.

Produce Batch Content for Campaigns and Launches

When you have a product launch, event, or content calendar to fill, we work through the production queue inside your account: resizing assets across formats using Magic Resize, swapping copy and imagery across template variants, and delivering finalized files in the correct export formats for each channel. You hand us a brief and a deadline, and we return a complete, organized asset set.

Audit and Reorganize an Existing Canva Workspace

Canva workspaces accumulate fast. We audit your existing folders, shared designs, and team structure, then consolidate duplicates, archive outdated assets, and build a folder hierarchy that maps to your actual workflow. We document the naming conventions and folder logic so the organization holds after we hand it back.

Set Up and Manage a Canva for Teams Workspace

We handle the administrative side of Canva for Teams: inviting members, assigning roles, setting Brand Kit permissions, and creating shared folders for each department or project type. If you are migrating from individual accounts to a shared workspace, we consolidate assets and rebuild templates under the team account so nothing is lost.

Create Presentation Decks and Proposal Documents

We build full presentation decks inside Canva using your brand templates, incorporating your copy, data visualizations, and imagery into a polished, on-brand format. For recurring use cases like sales proposals or investor updates, we build a master deck template that your team can update independently without redesigning from scratch each time.

Integrate Canva Outputs Into Your Publishing and Content Workflow

We connect your Canva production process to the tools downstream: exporting assets in the correct specs for Buffer, Hootsuite, or your CMS, uploading finalized graphics to Google Drive or Dropbox in organized folders, and naming files according to your conventions. If Canva connects directly to a platform you use, we configure and test that integration so assets move without manual downloading and re-uploading.

How Trusty Oak supports Canva workflows

How the Canva handoff works

During onboarding, your Client Success Manager reviews your existing Canva workspace (or your plans if you are starting fresh), identifies your highest-priority design needs, and builds a Strategic Delegation Plan that maps specific tasks to your monthly hour budget. Your assigned specialist works directly inside your Canva account, documents every template, folder structure, and process they build, and checks in with you for approvals before finalizing anything that affects your brand standards. You retain full ownership of the account and all assets at all times. As your needs shift, your specialist adjusts the workflow priorities with you, so your hours are always going toward the work that has the most impact.

Common Canva workflows we build

A few of the most common workflows our team has deployed with Canva.

1

Content calendar brief to ready-to-post social assets

We receive your monthly content calendar (usually a Google Sheet or Notion doc), pull the copy and topic for each post, and produce the corresponding Canva graphics in your approved templates. Finished assets are exported and dropped into a shared Drive folder organized by publish date and platform.

2

New campaign launch to full multi-format asset set

When a new campaign kicks off, we take the creative brief and produce every required size variant, from Instagram Stories to LinkedIn banners to email headers, using Magic Resize and your locked brand templates. All files are named, sorted by format, and delivered before your campaign go-live date.

3

Offboarding a designer to a self-serve team template library

When a designer leaves or a contract ends, we audit what they built in Canva, rebuild any designs that are not properly templatized, and document how to use each template so your non-designer team members can make updates independently. This prevents the common scenario where all the design knowledge walks out the door.

4

Brand refresh to updated Canva Brand Kit and retroactive template updates

After a rebrand, we update your Brand Kit with new colors, fonts, and logos, then work through your existing template library to apply the updated brand to each file. We flag any designs that need more significant rework and deliver a prioritized list so nothing gets missed before the new brand goes live.

5

Recurring weekly graphics request to repeatable production queue

For clients who need the same types of assets produced on a weekly cadence (podcast cover art, newsletter headers, event promotions), we build a repeatable production process: a request intake form, a Canva template for each asset type, and a consistent delivery folder structure. This cuts production time significantly after the first cycle.

Frequently asked questions

Yes, your specialist works directly in your account, which means you add them as a team member in Canva for Teams or share access through your preferred method. You own the account and every asset in it from day one. If you end your engagement with Trusty Oak, your specialist is removed from the account and everything they built stays with you.
Both are possible. Some clients bring us in for a specific project like a brand kit build or a campaign asset set, and others keep a specialist on retainer to handle ongoing content production, template updates, and new asset requests each month. The monthly plan structure with rollover hours works well for ongoing design support because your unused hours carry forward during slower months.
Canva is a strong fit if your primary need is producing consistent, on-brand marketing and social content at volume, especially with a team that includes non-designers. If you need pixel-level control, complex vector work, or design handoffs to developers, tools like Figma or Adobe Illustrator are better suited. Our specialists can help you assess this during onboarding and will be honest if your use case points toward a different tool.
Canva work is handled by our Specialists tier at $50/hr. Monthly Talent Budgets start at $1,000/month, and there is a one-time $300 onboarding fee that covers your Strategic Delegation Plan. Unused hours roll over each month, and after the initial three-month commitment, the engagement is month-to-month.
That is one of the most common situations we onboard clients from. Your specialist starts with a workspace audit: reviewing your existing folders, templates, and Brand Kit settings to understand what is there and what is missing. From that audit, they build a prioritized plan and work through it in order, so you get the highest-value fixes first rather than trying to tackle everything at once.
