Hire a Google Slides expert who works directly in your account

You know exactly what you need: a polished deck for a board meeting, a templated pitch that your team can actually reuse, or a presentation library that does not look like it was assembled in a hurry. The problem is not the tool, it is the time. Trusty Oak fractional specialists work inside your Google Slides account to build, maintain, and update presentations to your brand standards, without you managing every slide. From one-off decks to recurring reporting templates, the work gets done and the files stay organized in your Drive.

What our team does with Google Slides

Concrete work our fractional specialists take on inside your Google Slides account. No vague promises.

Build presentation decks from scratch to your brand standards

Specialists create slides using your existing color palette, fonts, and logo assets applied through master slide layouts and theme settings. Every deck is built with consistent text placeholders, image frames, and speaker notes so the output is ready to present, not just ready to edit. Deliverables include a finalized file shared to your designated Drive folder with edit access controlled to your preferences.

Design and lock reusable slide templates for your team

We build master slide layouts inside your presentation theme so your team starts every new deck from a consistent foundation. Placeholder logic, font hierarchies, and background treatments are set at the theme level to prevent accidental formatting drift. The finished template is saved as a protected file your team duplicates, not edits directly.

Audit and reformat existing decks for consistency and readability

Specialists review your current presentations for inconsistent fonts, misaligned objects, off-brand colors, and slide-level formatting errors introduced by multiple editors. Each slide is corrected against a defined style reference, and a revision log is provided so you can see exactly what changed. This is common work before a fundraise, a client pitch, or a company-wide rollout.

Produce recurring report decks from live data sources

For clients who present weekly or monthly metrics, specialists build linked slide decks that pull from Google Sheets using the Sheets chart embed feature, so charts update when the source data changes. We set up the initial links, document the refresh process, and handle any re-linking when source sheet structures change. The result is a deck that requires minimal manual intervention each reporting cycle.

Convert PowerPoint files into Google Slides with formatting preserved

PPTX-to-Slides migrations often break fonts, misalign shapes, and drop custom animations. Specialists handle the import, identify every formatting issue the conversion introduced, and correct them against the original file. If your organization is moving from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, we can process a batch of files and deliver a Drive folder structure that mirrors your original PowerPoint library.

Organize and manage a shared presentation library in Google Drive

Specialists build a Drive folder hierarchy for your presentation assets, apply consistent naming conventions, and archive outdated versions so your team can find the right deck without searching through dozens of similarly named files. We also set sharing permissions at the folder level so the right people have view or edit access by default. Ongoing maintenance includes quarterly audits to remove stale files and update any decks that reference outdated information.

How Trusty Oak supports Google Slides workflows

How the Google Slides handoff works

During onboarding, your dedicated Client Success Manager reviews any existing Google Slides files and Drive folder structure you share, identifies formatting inconsistencies or template gaps, and works with you to prioritize the first set of deliverables. From there, a fractional specialist is matched to your account based on the complexity of your presentation needs, whether that is recurring deck production, a one-time library overhaul, or template system design. All work happens inside your Google account using access you control, and nothing is built or published without your sign-off. We document the file structure, naming conventions, and any recurring processes we set up so your team is never dependent on a single person to maintain them.

Common Google Slides workflows we build

A few of the most common workflows our team has deployed with Google Slides.

1

Brand refresh brief to updated master template to team rollout

When a client updates their brand guidelines, we take the new style guide and rebuild the Google Slides theme: updating master layouts, replacing fonts, adjusting color variables, and swapping logo assets across all slide types. The finished theme file is shared with the client for approval before being distributed to the team as the new default template.

2

Google Sheets data update to refreshed metrics deck to stakeholder share

For clients with standing board or investor decks, we embed Sheets charts directly into slides and set up a recurring update process where the specialist verifies data accuracy, refreshes any broken links, and confirms the deck is presentation-ready before the scheduled meeting. The client receives a Slack or email notification when the deck is updated and ready for review.

3

Sales call recording notes to formatted case study slide to pitch deck insert

Specialists take raw notes or a completed case study document and convert the content into a formatted slide following your pitch deck's visual system, including pull quotes, result callouts, and client logo placement. The finished slide is added to the master pitch deck and saved as a standalone asset for one-off use.

4

New hire onboarding doc to structured training deck to Drive folder delivery

When HR or operations teams have onboarding content living in Google Docs, specialists convert that content into a structured slide deck with section dividers, agenda slides, and formatted talking points. The finished deck is placed in the designated onboarding Drive folder with view-only access set for new hire accounts.

5

Event agenda to speaker briefing deck to post-event recap presentation

For clients running webinars, conferences, or internal all-hands meetings, specialists build three connected decks from a single event brief: a speaker-facing briefing deck with timing and talking points, a live presentation deck formatted for screen share, and a post-event recap deck populated with key takeaways and attendance data after the event concludes.

Frequently asked questions

You add the assigned specialist as a collaborator directly inside Google Drive, with access scoped to only the folders or files they need. You retain full ownership of every file and can revoke access at any time from your Google account settings. We never ask for your Google account credentials.
Both are available depending on your monthly hour allocation. Clients with recurring reporting decks or sales materials that need regular updates typically use a portion of their monthly hours for standing presentation maintenance. Your Client Success Manager helps you allocate hours across one-time builds and recurring tasks so you are not guessing at the end of each month.
If your team is already in Google Workspace and collaborates on files in real time, Google Slides is a practical choice and our specialists work in it daily. If your design needs are highly visual and brand-heavy, some clients find Canva gives them more layout flexibility, and we support that tool as well. We will flag during onboarding if your use case would be better served by a different tool, rather than building a workflow that does not fit.
Specialist work is billed at $50 per hour and is drawn from your monthly Talent Budget, which starts at $1,000 per month with a one-time $300 onboarding fee. Every task is logged as a time entry with a description of the work completed, so you can see exactly how hours were spent. Unused hours roll over each month.
Trusty Oak requires an initial three-month commitment, so it is a better fit for clients who have a steady flow of presentation work or broader administrative and operational needs that go beyond a single project. If you have one urgent deck and nothing else, a freelance designer on a project basis may be a more cost-effective option. That said, most clients who start with a presentation project find additional work to delegate once the onboarding is complete.
